Brenda Harris

I’m a visual artist and interior stylist with a deep love of colour, light, and atmosphere. With a background in textiles and design, I’ve spent the past 30+ years painting in oils and acrylics — drawn to rich, glowing palettes full of golds, purples, and the kind of light that stops you in your tracks.

My inspiration comes from the places and moments that speak to me: the shifting skies over Ardmore, the colours of Collioure, the atmosphere of the Tramuntana Mountains in Mallorca, the rhythm of the seasons in my garden, and the sense of freedom I find when I travel. Each painting is a response to those experiences — a way to hold onto beauty, emotion, and memory.

Over the years, my work has been shown in exhibitions in Ireland, the UK, France and the US, and now lives in homes and collections around the world. I also love sharing what I’ve learned — through workshops, tutorials, and little glimpses behind the scenes on social media.

For me, painting is about connection — to nature, to creativity, and to the quiet joy that colour can bring.
